Individual therapy for adults
At New Perspectives Psychology, individual therapy is a collaborative process designed to support your mental health and well-being. In a confidential, non-judgmental space, you’ll work one-on-one with a skilled therapist to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
We support clients facing a wide range of concerns—including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, poor self-worth, career issues, stress/burnout, grief, emotion dysregulation, family conflict and life transitions. Whether you're seeking relief from distress, or striving for greater self-understanding and personal growth, we’re here to help.
Our therapists draw on evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to your unique needs and goals. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—our goal is to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of clarity and connection.
During your first session, your therapist will begin with an evidence-based intake assessment. This structured approach will help to collaboratively understand the specific challenges and patterns that may be underlying your symptoms and interfering in your life. From there, you and your therapist will work together to develop a personalized treatment plan and establish clear goals for your therapy journey.
