Child & Adolescent therapy

Children and adolescents have a natural capacity to succeed. However, sometimes they have sensitive temperaments or have faced adverse circumstances in their lives that have made it tougher for them to cope. Through support, youth can learn how to regulate their intense emotions and become resilient, successful kids!

Our team adopts a strengths-based and collaborative approach to treatment, which is grounded in evidence-based, research-informed principles and practices. Because all youth are unique and require individualized treatment, we draw from a range of diverse approaches and orientations to best meet their needs.

Personalized Care

Each youth is recognized as unique, and their specific strengths and challenges are targeted through therapy. Interventions and strategies are carefully developed to suit the unique needs of every individual.

Parental Involvement

Parents play a significant role in supporting their children's growth. We emphasize collaboration with parents to create a supportive environment at home that complements the progress made during sessions.

Holistic Approach

We take a holistic approach that recognizes the connection between a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. Our work considers how a child functions across both home and school environments, with a focus on fostering resilience and well-being in all areas of their life.
